A new Spanish technology purifies water in Ethiopia. The presence of fluoride in wells cause health damage of 79% of the countrys population
The project consists of the the development of a ocmunal treatment plant for the removal of lfuoride from the wellwaters of the Ethiopian comunities of Dida and Obe.
The "NGO “AMIGOS DE SILVA” was in charge of the management of the project. The TAGUA group, of which Hindrop is a part, participated as a technological supplier providing the absorbent medium HINDROP to eliminate fluoride present in the water.
